- Elections in Canada provides the 1997 federal election results, links to Canadian political parties, and elections, parties and parliaments around the world.
- Decision '97 was Canoe's site for the 1997 federal election campaign. It is still available, and provides an excellent insight into the campaign and the results.
- Canada Votes, Election '97 is Southam's site for the 1997 federal election. It too, is still available.

- Destination Democracy is an American organization devoted to reforming how election campaigns are financed.

- BBC News Online Network presents British and world news. A problem with the site is its Java applets, which slows down loading considerably.
